The Greater Hartford Area Supporting LIVESTRONG has partnered with Newington Bicycle for their 7th Annual Metric Century Charity Ride, to be held on Sunday June 26, 2011. This event will be raising money for The Lance Armstrong Foundation and their fight against cancer. The participants of this event will have the option to ride 100, 84 or 40 km. Included with the registration will be an event t-shirt for registrations received before June 11th, pre and post ride meal, full rider support with food and drinks along the way. All proceeds go directly to The Lance Armstrong Foundation. The solicitation of sponsors for donations is encouraged and would be appreciated.
